If you add a long vowel symbol at the end of TheFotoStorē, you get the photo story. That's what I try to tell whether in one or a series of images.
In my travels around the world, I figured out that while my eye is a good camera lens, my brain does not make great film. I believe that's one reason we all like photography so much.
I shoot many types of events and subjects, ranging from weddings and advertising, to candid portraits, musicians, fashion, art, pets, and more. This is mainly because I like taking pictures of life and so want to do projects that involve all types of people and subjects. When possible, I prefer to shoot on-location with natural lighting.
For some types of work, I sometimes give directions, when necessary or if you want them.
In general, I try to be as unobtrusive as possible.
For nostalgic reasons, I occasionally shoot with 35mm film. It still has some properties I like, such as less time spent in front of the computer. But of course, in this electronic world, I mainly shoot with a Canon EOS digital SLR system.
Thanks for your time,
Romain
